Planting Seeds
i experienced a dark and cold winter internally. i love the spring. more so than ever this year, it represents
rebirth
i planted little arugula seeds in my garden in late november and now they are growing wild
my garden has lavender, red geranium, white nightshade, yellow flowers, tomatoes, basil, and some sneaky colorful flowers that pollinated over from the air around it
i'm making analogies because it feels so representative to my real life
i planted real life seeds in my relationships, into myself, into my career, into the world
you won't see a blossomed plant the same day that you plant the seed
and every few days you water it, and some days it rains so you don't have to do any extra work towards it, and a few days later, all the plants are even more beautiful and taller and blooming faster from the nourishing rain and sunshine-- and sometimes you trim little dried leaves off, and sometimes you pick some pieces to put in a vase for your home.
i am starting to see the figurative seeds bloom in my life
this reminds me that my life is like my garden, some days i tend to it
and some days i let nature do the rest
